On this edition of Century: International Perspectives on Drug Policy. The Irish Parliament’s Joint Committee on Drugs Use met March 26 for a discussion entitled International Perspectives on Legislation, Policy and Practice. The Senators and Deputies heard from two experts: Doctor Mariam Jashi, a former member of the Georgian Parliament and former Deputy Minister of Health, speaking on behalf of the UNITE Parliamentarians Network; and Doctor António Manuel Leitão da Silva, National Head of Policing in north Portugal. This week on Century we’ll hear highlights from that discussion.
