He is the Founder and CEO of credo-science.com and the creator of the course Foundations of Cannabis Therapeutics with Ethan Russo, MD: An Evidence-Based Medical Cannabis Education Course. Previously, he was Director of Research and Development of the International Cannabis and Cannabinoids Institute (ICCI) based in Prague, Czech Republic. Medical Director of PHYTECS (2015-2017), a biotechnology company researching and developing innovative approaches targeting the human endocannabinoid system, and from 2003-2014, he served as Senior Medical Advisor, medical monitor and study physician to GW Pharmaceuticals, United Kingdom for numerous Phase I-III clinical trials of Sativex® for alleviation of cancer pain unresponsive to optimized opioid treatment and initial studies of Epidiolex® for intractable epilepsy.

Century of Lies

04/29/25 Paul Armentano, Deputy Director of NORMLOn this edition of Century: Driving and Drugs. Operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs, be they legal or illegal, is a matter of concern to nations around the world and society as a whole. Nations deal with these concerns in various ways. This was one of the topics discussed recently at the Sixty-Eighth Session of the UN’s Commission on Narcotic Drugs in a side panel organized by the Italian NGO Forum Droghe, entitled Driving and Substances: A New Approach to Regulation. We hear presentations by two of the panelists: Paul Armentano, Deputy Director of NORML, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, and Georg Wurth, CEO of the German Hemp Association.

Eric  Sterling Anti Fascist, was counsel to the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary, 1979-1989 and participated in the passage of the mandatory minimum sentencing laws. Currently, he is  Co-Chair of the American Bar Association, Committee on Criminal Justice, Section of Individual Rights and Responsibilities.

Becker's Buds

Marshall Fogg retired from the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) and Department of Justice (DOJ) as a Chief with 32 years of federal service while obtaining the highest law enforcement awards from the USMS Director, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, the Federal Bar Association and others, for service above and beyond the call of duty. He was officially honored with a task force plaque displaying ‘Batman’ for his ‘Gotham City’ and super hero characterization while on 24 hour call supervising joint USMS/DEA/State & Municipal enforcement operations nationwide. During his tenure in the USMS he was a member of the Special Operations Group (SOG) aka, SWAT TEAM which, included extensive training in Major Court Security OPS, Scuba Dive Rescue Specialist, Paratrooper, Special Assault Weapons, HandTo-Hand Combat, Improvised Explosive Devices and Foreign Dignitary Protection for the United Nations, General Assembly.
