The British Columbia Association of People on Opiate Maintenance (BCAPOM), the Drug User Liberation Front (DULF) and the Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users (VANDU) broke the news that there were a total of 2224 drug poisoning deaths in BC in calendar year 2021. In response to this, the groups are issuing demands for immediate access to safe supply and accountability for those in charge of the overdose response in BC, while continuing their tradition of distributing a safe supply of cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine.
